Some Quick Notes Regarding Our Hours & Service

Dear valued customers and friends,

Please understand that we at 50Kitchen love Dorchester and we love Boston! We also ask that you understand that we are still very much in the midst of a global pandemic. Price increases for supplies, shortages in ingredients, and staffing issues have caused many challenges that often don’t give us a lot of notice to react to. Because of this, many industries, especially restaurants have taken a major blow.

It’s not that we don’t want to be here every day, because we do.Therefore, we ask that you be kind and patient as we continue to push through this thing, and understand that our hours will continue to fluctuate. But when we finally reach the finish line, we will celebrate together!

Dorchester! Boston! Fields Corner! Calling all fans of Food Network and Chopped. We are so excited to announce that Chef Anthony will be a contestant on an upcoming special episode of Chopped. Chef Anthony had to play by @marthastewart ’s rules. This episode is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Tune-in Tuesday, April 13th at 9 pm EST for the start of the Martha Rules Competition.

50Kitchen is a fusion style restaurant located in Fields Corner in Dorchester. It’s a place that represents second chances, the power of community and cultural diversity through the food and the people that we serve.

Our menu focuses on traditional southern cuisine staples like our wings or our Chicken & Waffles, Gumbo, and Shrimp & Grits, as well as fusion experiments like our Jambalaya Egg Rolls. But, no matter what you get as an entree, you have to try our Honey Fried Cornbread.

Meet Owner & Chef Anthony Caldwell

Owner and head chef Anthony Caldwell knows a thing or two about how food can change lives. Opening his first restaurant after years of cooking in some of Boston’s most prestigious universities & hotels, Chef Caldwell has always dreamed of bringing his vision to life.

Inspired by the rich, diverse, cultural community of Dorchester, 50Kitchen’s menu pays homage to both American Southern and Asian cuisine. From Jambalaya Egg Rolls to smoked BBQ brisket on our Banh Mi sandwich, you are in for a treat when you visit 50Kitchen.
