Owner & head chef Anthony Caldwell has had a long culinary journey. From cooking at MIT and Harvard, to working in the John Hancock and Legal Seafoods, he has worked throughout Greater Boston to provide delicious meals. After years of working in other kitchens, he got to start his dream restaurant in his hometown in Dorchester. Named after the age he opened his kitchen, 50Kitchen serves a lot of southern classics with a twist. Enjoy catering exclusive like shrimp po’ boy sliders or chicken and waffles.

Inspired by the rich cultural diversity in Dorchester, chef Caldwell wanted to feature Asian staples and culinary fusions on his menu. From our jambalaya egg rolls to our 50K sandwich (5 spice Chinese BBQ pulled pork with Asian slaw), our menu is designed to honor the great tastes and cuisines of Dorchester. Our Banh Mi sandwich features a delicious mix of southern BBQ with traditional Vietnamese flavors. Customers can either order trays of our sliders and entrees, or order individually packaged boxed lunches that come with chips and cole slaw.
