Contactless Outdoor Dining Coming to 50Kitchen

At 50Kitchen we have been looking to the day that we could have customers back at our restaurant. As a restaurant’s who’s first grand opening was earlier this year, we have spent more time fulfilling delivery and takeout orders than getting to serve beautiful food to our beautiful customers in person. That is why we were so happy when Boston approved our plans to build a patio space outside our restaurant that customers could come and enjoy.

We would like to consider this patio our second grand opening. We know a few of our fans weren’t happy that they missed our original grand opening, and were even more disappointed that they couldn’t visit before the pandemic shut down all the restaurants in the city. Our new patio is opening July 24th and for safety reasons we would like all customers to make a reservation. And we hope that our customers are as excited as we are to eat at our restaurant and hope that you can enjoy our second Grand Opening. That being said, this is not an open event, in accordance with CDC guidelines we want to avoid any crowding at our location.
Here is a quick guide to patio dining at 50Kitchen.

We are asking our customers to make reservations before they come to our restaurant. We will be honoring reservations before walk-ins, however, if there is an empty table we will do our best to seat you. Our goal is to completely eliminate contact at our restaurant to promote health and safety for our staff, our customers, and our community. For this reason we are asking customers to make reservations and understand a few important guidelines.

• Late Arrivals: Our staff will hold your seats for 15 minutes after your reserved time, after 15 minutes we will offer the table to other guests that are waiting. 
• Limited Time: We want as many customers to enjoy eating on our patio as possible. For that reason, we are limiting reservations to 1 hour.
• Seating: To be seated you must come into the restaurant. A member of our team will seat you. Additionally, you can call the restaurant. If we have an open seats we will seat you. 

We have created a system for dining that will minimize the necessary interaction between our team and our customers, and will eliminate any contact. When you arrive at 50Kitchen your table will have a helpful info sheet. Customers can place their orders through the Toast takeout system (there will be both a link to the ordering system and a scannable QR code at your table). This system will notify the kitchen of any new orders. To make this system work smoothly we want all patio customers to send a quick note about what number table they are at when they place their order. This can be done in the “special instructions” section of the first menu item you order. This will help our staff keep track of which orders are for takeout and which orders are for the patio, and it will help our servers make sure the food gets to the right table.

What’s a second grand opening without a new menu item? Introducing the 50K Sandwich, our new Chinese 5 spice pulled pork sandwich; this sandwich has 8oz of pulled pork served on a brioche bun and topped with an asian pear slaw and cilantro.
